Taco Tuesday is a long-standing tradition for my friends and I. We meet at a different place each week, order a margarita and eat $1 tacos all the while telling the mostly embarrassing stories of this new grown-up world we stumbled into. There’s a comfort in Taco Tuesdays that I don’t get anywhere else though I could never explain it in full detail because I barely understand it. All I know is Taco Tuesday still manages to be the best of the best. There are a ton of Mexican restaurants in Los Angeles that do Taco Tuesday and even a few fast food places. I present to you some of the coolest (and unexpected) Taco Tuesday deals. You’re welcome.
Busby’s (Santa Monica): $1 tacos & $8 Patron Margaritas
La Playita Siete Mares (Silver Lake): $1 fish tacos
El Toro Cantina (Mid Wilshire): $1 chicken, beef, tuna tartar, and coconut shrimp
Tortilla Republic (West Hollywood): $6 for 2 tacos
In this WeHo destination spot, enjoy taco tuesday ALL day and you can also get your tacos "skinny style" with tasting fillings like chicken, prime tenderloing steak, sweet potato hibiscus or duck confit. Their happy hour rocks too.
- Served all day; 616 N Robertson Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069
Don Chuy's (Culver City): $0.99 carne asada, chicken and chorizo & $2 beers
Rubio’s: $1.50 fish tacos
>>>For the fast-foodie Taco Tuesday fan<<<
*Del Taco: $1.09 for 3 regular tacos
-Served 3PM-11PM; Almost everywhere
*Jack in the Box: $0.99 for 1 taco
- Served EVERYDAY; Almost everywhere
*I know, I know it's Del Taco and Jack in the Box, but don’t judge so quickly. These are good deals and lovehappyhour tries to have options for everybody. If you’re a food snob just disregard this.
