‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ has broken the November box office record with a $161.1 million debut and is stirring up excitement around the world. But don’t worry if you missed the opening weekend, its not too late to get fired up about the latest installment with these character inspired cocktails.

Effie Trinket’s Pink Drink

2oz Croft Pink
1oz Premium Gin
2 dashed of Regan’s Orange bitters 3oz Ginger Beer

Pour all the ingredients into an ice-filled highball glass, stir briefly and garnish with a sprig of mint and seasonal fruit.

The Haymitch

1/2 oz Tennessee Whiskey 1/2 oz Bourbon
1/2 oz Scotch

1/2 oz Seagrams 7

Preparation:
In a cocktail shaker, combine the four liquors and ice and give a hearty shake.
Strain into a chilled double-shot glass.
Please try not to die.

Girl on Fire

1 & 1/2 oz gin

3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
3/4 oz simple syrup

Serrano Pepper

Angostura Bitters

In a cocktail shaker tin, muddle: 1 thin slice of Serrano pepper Add a few dashes of: Angostura bitters
Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously with a big smile.
Strain into a stemmed coupe glass that has been chilled.
Next, float 1/4 oz of Wray & Nephews overproof rum on top of the cocktail. Strike a match and CAREFULLY bring to the rim of the glass to ignite the Girl on Fire

Tracker Jacker

Makes 1
11⁄2 oz. gin
1⁄4 oz. absinthe
Juice of half a lemon
1⁄2 oz. honey syrup (equal parts honey and water) Lemon twist

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a glass, and garnish with a twist of lemon.

Quarter Quell

1⁄2 oz raspberry liqueur

1⁄2 oz elderflower liqueur Prosecco (for filling)

Orange twist

Pour raspberry liqueur and elderflower liqueur into a champagne flute. Fill flute with Prosecco, and garnish with a twist of orange. (Makes 1)
