Downtown Culver City's Third Wednesday "Singles Step Out" Happy Hour

February 10th, 2013
by Maren Swanson

Are you single this time of year and over the idea of Valentine's Day? Are you re-activating your online dating site accounts during the month of February? We've all been there, and unless you're dating someone seriously or married, February 14th can be a tough day. Well, you have options, that's for sure. If you are down for a non-romantic movie, the new Die Hard opens in theaters nation-wide this Valentine's Day. There's also the "let's go out with all of my single friends and talk smack about our couple friends" idea. Or my favorite pastime, happy hour.

But this year, Culver City has your back. Go ahead and fulfill your V Day plans, however, give one new option a thought: Downtown Culver City's Third Wednesday "Singles Step Out" Happy Hour. On Wednesday, February 20th, and every third Wednesday of the month after, swing by Downtown Culver City to enjoy free samples, live music and dining and merchant specials. Bring a friend or fly solo while you pop into local art galleries, listen the to eclectic sounds of Marston, Lord of the Cello and grab some free samples from participating merchants. This event goes from 5pm - 9pm, but feel free to stay for a drink afterwards at some of Culver City's fantastic bars nearby.
