Whether it’s a dinner in the park (potluck style) or distributing Christmas food baskets you’ll find a way to help spread the joy this season in Los Angeles.
You have to fill out an application to be a volunteer, but Union Station has a huge dinner-in-the-park for Thanksgiving and Christmas. You’ll be helping out those who have nowhere to go this holiday season. Unfortunately, volunteering for Thanksgiving is closed, but there’s always Christmas!

They bring blankets, clothes, food and other vital essentials. You’d be surprised what people on the streets go without, but you could be one of the people that changes that.
For Thanksgiving you can bring home-cooked meals to Westchester Masonic Center and provide a meal for those that would have gone with out. Everything helps and if you’re a good cook it would be a great way to give back.
