Have you ever had the fantasy of someday opening your own winery and creating some of the best tasting wine ever? You're not alone. I dream about this all of the time, but I realize it would take years of work, studying Oenology and a LOT of money to even get the vino process going.

But what if you could learn how to be a winemaker for the day - Napa Valley style? Rutherford Hill Winery in Rutherford is offering you just that opportunity to learn from the masters and create your own wine. On Saturdays from 11am - 1pm, until April 26th 2014, pay just $95 ($75 for club members) to create your own Merlot recipe using wines from their four vineyards.

Blend, bottle and design a unique label for your Merlot and then enjoy a wine tasting and tour of the Rutherford Hill caves. Your blending experience will include:

- A tour of our property featuring vistas overlooking the Napa Valley and a tour of our wine cave tunnel system.
- Private wine tasting
- Sensory evaluation skills taught by one of our expert wine educators
- 4 different single vineyard wines to taste, blend, and evaluate
- Individual set of blending tools to use during your own winemaking process
- Opportunity to blend, bottle and cork your own creation
- 375mL bottle of your personally labeled final blend to take home and enjoy “Best Blend” judging available upon request
