I'm a total romantic, so with Valentine's Day coming up next Friday, I decided to put some TLC into a making a V Day cocktail for my man. I call this cocktail, "Bringing Sexy Back" because on Valentine's Day, I enjoy the art of sexiness. It's like an adult prom date; you wear that really nice perfume that you save for special occasions, you bust out Sade on Pandora and you want everything that's edible (solid or liquid) to invoke a sense of seduction.
If you like anything pomegranate flavored, then this elixir is right up your alley. I used Stoli White Pomegranik vodka which I purchased for $6.99 a bottle at Trader Joe's (#dealalert) and this Valentine's Day cocktail can be served martini style or over ice.
"Bringing Sexy Back" is a great amuse bouche for your Valentine's Day pre-games. Maybe you have a great bottle of wine you've been saving and a you don't want to mix too many different types of alcohol. Well, get your lips wet with this one and your night will be off to a great start. You can have have that Pinot Noir with dinner...
Another little bit of advice. Try adding an edible garnish with a toothpick, perhaps a strawberry or pomegranate seeds in a small dish on the side to keep popping in your mouth. You can also add a champagne floater on top to make an impression. Sensuous, right? Look, this drink is called, "Bringing Sexy Back" so just stay in tune with the theme of this cocktail all night and you're set. Catch my drift? Enjoy and Happy Valentine's Day!
Ingredients:
1 3/4 oz of Stoli White Pomegranik vodka Mix it:
