It’s no surprise that when it rains in LA, the Angelinos do not come pouring out to their local eatery or brewery. Instead, the rare onset of water, whether it sprinkle or drench, keeps most of us snuggled up with our heaters and ordering some form of delivery. But if you happen to be one of the few rain-starved adventurers on the look out for some comfort food or a crackling fireplace, we’ve gathered some cozy options for you.

On the Sunset Strip across from the late Miyagis, you will find an A-frame cabin style spot called, The Den. The Den of Hollywood has a great patio for brunch and mimosas, but the bar inside offers plenty of great draft beer, board games and a flirty fireplace.

La Boheme is not only rated one of the best happy hours in West Hollywood, but the décor both inside and out could be second to none, too. Amidst the gorgeous chandeliers and sculptures, a massive fireplace adorns the main dining room.

For a real log cabin feel, check out Big Foot Lodge in Silver Lake. Stiff drinks and stags set the tone at this dark hipster bar, and if you decide to pass on the bingo, definitely take them up on the happy hour!

Now I know that I usually only cover happy hour spots, but I had to include one of my new favorite watering holes: Eveleigh. If you want a sexy date spot in West Hollywood, look no further. In addition to the fireplace and scenic city view, Eveleigh delivers a rustic-chic atmosphere, including an array of boutique wine and sustainable dishes.

Ok, so Gyu-Kaku doesn’t have a fireplace, but how cool is it to cook over your own fire? Gyu-Kaku in Beverly Hills is a happy hour and Korean BBQ haven. With 99-cent draft beers and half off most grill-your-own appetizers, you-can't-go...wrong.

It may be dreary outside, but don’t let the weather rain on your dining parade and whatever you do - don't blame it on the rain (couldn't help myself).
