New York City Wine and Food Festival started off as a one-night event in 2007, but now marks its upcoming 5th anniversary in mid October - and oh, how it continues to grow. The grand gala may seem far off, but plan ahead and purchase tickets in advance for some extra savings. Ticket sales launched June 24th.

Presented by Food and Wine, NYC Wine and Food Festival is one of the biggest food affairs in New York City. Celebrity chefs, Jonathan Waxman of Top Chef Master and Ted Allen of Food Network's Chopped will be part of the culinary mix this year. This is your chance to be part of that crowd, meet the greatest chefs and taste their incredible cuisine.

Fulfill your foodie cravings by attending the event's brunch venues, intimate dinners and late night parties. If you want to be a little more scholastic about the whole adventure, participate in their walk around tastings, seminars and culinary demonstrations.

The NYC Wine and Food Festival brings both glamour and good together with their efforts to fight hunger by benefiting two major charity organizations: Food Bank and No Kid Hungry.
