Have you found it frustrating to hunt down happy hour information for a restaurant or bar? Sometimes, venues won't even have a website or they won't list their happy hour information. Even calling ahead can be a pain when they put you on hold, don't know the happy hour information or they are in the middle of being super busy so they are rushed - or you just can't hear a thing with all that background noise. Lovehappyhour.com is your solution.

Maren Swanson graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Communication, before making the big move to Los Angeles in search for something new. When she wasn't studying, acting, or auditioning, major restaurant companies such as Houston's (The Hillstone Group) and Katana (Innovative Dining Group) helped build her strong backbone in the service industry. With 14 plus years of working in hospitality, including her love for food, drinks and social outings, she suddenly found her "something new" where she least expected it. Gathering all these tools, she was able to apply her strong work ethic, determination and creative talents to construct her online vision - lovehappyhour.com. In her quest to find the best happy hours around, she continually strives to update and enhance the site. In addition to being the company's

CEO, Swanson serves as editor and a contributing writer.
When she's not plugging away at the computer or playing boss, you can usually find her scouting out new happy hour spots with her amazing team of assistants. "I love anywhere from dive bars to upscale hot spots," she remarks. For now, her search continues and she'd love for you to join her.

Allison Arbuthnot
Raised in Northern California and schooled in New England, I am yet another Los Angeles transplant who is desperately trying not to fall in love with the sunny days of So-Cal. I received formal training in both words and wine with a degree in Professional Writing from Champlain College in Burlington, VT, and a Sommelier Certification with the Master Court in Napa, CA. My approach to wine and food writing, however, is often nontraditional. For me, it is all about the experience.
My heart lies with mountains, old vintages, fresh veggies, cheap sunglasses, tattered notebooks, one-way plane tickets, cold water and my cowboy boots. My passion lies right here, with these words.

Deeply involved in the international electronic music scene, Shilo works with many pioneering producers and cultural festivals, helping to foster a global arts community based on creative self-expression, the sacred playground and post-genre music. She writes for dozens and dozens of websites, print magazines and organizations; her favorite employers are the independent music label Alpha Pup Records, absurdist theatrical performance troupe Lucent Dossier, global bass music booking agency Eleven Eleven and of course- Love Happy Hour.

Favorite drink: Filthy wet Grey Goose martini with extra olives
